It started with a jewelry box.

Long before Stellara existed, there was a little girl, glued to The Shopping Channel every time the jewelry specials came on. I studied every cut, every carat, every claim like a tiny expert. Then I would go "shopping" in my mom's jewelry box, trying on her treasures and lovingly cleaning them with homemade potions mixed from the cleaning cabinet. She was very patient.

That obsession never left. It just waited.

Years later, during the pandemic, I started making raw crystal earrings, wire wrapped by hand at my kitchen table. People loved them, and I loved making them. But handmade wire has its limits, and the pieces were not built to last a lifetime. That bothered me more than it probably should have. I did not want to make things people would enjoy for a season. I wanted to make things they would pass down.

So I got serious. With guidance from a friend in the diamond industry, I pursued formal diamond education through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and Stellara Fine Jewelry was born.

Why Stellara?

I have always been fascinated by the stars, and I hold my work to a stellar standard. The name is both. Every piece that leaves my studio carries that little star with it.

What I actually do

I design custom engagement rings and fine jewelry for people who want their piece to mean something. My favorite thing in the world is finding or creating the piece that fits someone in a way they never expected, the one that makes them stand a little taller when they put it on. Watching someone's confidence rise and their true self radiate is an unparalleled joy, and it is the entire reason this studio exists.

I have always said that when I retire, you will find me working in a bridal shop somewhere, because I never want to stop being part of these moments. Stellara means I do not have to wait.
